Biographical Information

Dongsoo Lee is an assistant professor in the School of Chemical, Biological & Battery Engineering at Gachon University. He received his Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from Hanyang University, South Korea (2022). His doctoral research focused on the electrochemical interfaces in Li metal batteries and core technologies for Li metal stabilization. He subsequently joined the University of Texas at Austin as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2022–2023), where he contributed to the Battery500 Consortium by developing high-energy-density solid-state batteries through interfacial stabilization using novel cathode active materials and solid electrolytes. His research interests include Li metal anodes, solid-state batteries, and electrochemical devices for water-related applications.
